A SESSION ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT

“Entrepreneurship Development” program was conducted by the Institution’s Innovation Council on 22-02-2021 at Conference Hall SGC, with the support and encouragement of the Honourable Vice-Chairman Shri. S.Pazhaniraja.Ms. F. Jeno Sandana Brina Rouvier, Assistant Professor& Head, Department of Computer Applications, designed the invitation and prepared the agenda for the event.

The IIC president Mr. M. John Jacob, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Information Technology, welcomed the guests and participants. Beloved principal Dr.J.Sukumar and prof S. Kumar, Head, PG Department of Commerce gave away the felicitations. Mr. R. Kamalakannan, Assistant Professor, Department of Information Technology introduced the Chief Guest, Shri Balajee Manoharan K.M., Assistant Director, MSME, Chennai. The Chief Guest briefed the students about the modalities of starting a business and the incentives offered by the Government in promoting small business. He addressed the queries raised by the budding entrepreneurs and gave valuable tips to develop startups.

The program was coordinated by Dr. M. Vijayalakshmi, Assistant Professor, B.Com (CS). The program came to an end with vote of thanks by Mrs. S. Sharmila Devi, Assistant Professor,Department of Management Studies. The arrangements for the program were done by Ms. F. Jeno, R. Kamalakannan and Dr. K.
