YRC Volunteers of Saradha Gangadharan college celebrated Diwali with the children of Immaculate Home, near Indira Gandhi Stadium on 29th October 2024. The first year Computer Science students went on a field trip to the Pondicherry Science Center and Planetarium. This educational visit promoted experiential learning, fostering interactive engagement, curiosity, and creativity. Students are enthusiastically participated in hands-on activities, exploring various models and exhibits.

The final and pre-final year students of BBA visited NEW INDIA CERAMIC in Virudhachalam. They were gained valuable insights into entrepreneurial roles and activities that can enhance business practices. The students reported high satisfaction with the experience and found it to be a significant learning opportunity.

Brijesh Kumar R. S from II B.Com, of Saradha Gangadharan College has won the "Gold Medal" in the Pondicherry University Inter-Collegiate Taekwondo Men's Championship for the academic year 2024-2025.

YRC, RRC, NSS and NCC of SGC arranged the voluntary blood donation camp in our college campus. Medical team from IGMC&RI;, Puducherry is conducted the blood donation camp under the guidance of Dr. S. Karthigeyan. 34 units of blood donated by our students and Staff.

The Placement Cell of Saradha Gangadharan College entered into MoU with SRIS-Sree Ramanujar Intellect Services, Pondicherry on 9th October 2024. The main purpose of the MoU is to create awareness among the students on higher education and job in abroad. Ms. Devipriya, Founder and CEO of SRIS addressed the students on higher education opportunities in various Universities in abroad. Mr. Dinakaran, MD of SRIS and an alumnus of SGC joined the session and motivated the students to pursue higher studies and have a successful career.

The Principal of SGC along with 12 Faculty Members attended Bridge'24, a High Industry Institute Interaction Event at Anandha Inn Pondicherry on 8th Oct 2024. The 60th Edition of this event was hosted by ICT Academy. The Honourable Chief Minister of Pondicherry Mr. N.Rangasamy inaugurated the event. It was a remarkable day for SGC as we bagged the Best Coordinator Award (Arts and Science Colleges Category), has been recognised as Centre of Excellence for Youth Empowerment to train students on E-commerce Team Lead under Infosys Foundation Finishing School for Employability and as a Valued Partner for the MongoDB Academia Program.
