Session 1: Shri. G. RAMAKRISHNAN,

Assistant director, Directorate of industries and commerce, Government of Puducherry.


Having completed M. Tech in Energy Technology and also gained 32 years of service in Industrial Sector. With this profound tenure of experience, he has contributed to the development of industrial area, its maintenance, promotion of MSME, Entrepreneurship and skill development and also to the promotion of investment in the industrial sector.

  • He emphasized about start-up India scheme and start-up India policies in brief.
  • He gave us a clear picture on various types of beneficial schemes for different entrepreneurial businesses.
  • He also explained regarding MSME guidelines.
  • He triggered us to implement our innovative ideas and progress them for execution

Session 2: Shri. S. JAYARUBAN,

Founder and Director, Maddox Solutions private limited


Having completed his degree in Business Management, started his career as production executive and thereby progressing rapidly to the position of key account manager, from when he decided to visualize his bigger goals to start a business of his own and founded Maddox Solutions in 2010


He is also a sportsman, having won several trophies during his adolescence. He is also a fitness enthusiast. From being cool all the time, to taking crucial decisions, applying critical thinking, determining what’s best for others. He is indeed one of the best mentors one can get during their career

  • He highlighted the quoted words, one who makes use of opportunities, wins.
  • It was a different exposure involving a very friendly and interactive session.

Having completed her degree in Business Administration, soaring through her first employment from project management trainee to key account manager in 8 years, she envisioned to become something greater. She co-founded Maddox Solutions with Mr. S. Jayaruban in 2010


She has an eye for talent and brings out even the smallest sounds of the people around her. With the empathy to provide opportunity to everyone, ability to manage and tackle even the impossible situations, to mentoring someone from the scratch to the skies; she is the hope and support everyone needs in their career

Session 3: Shri. Balajee Manoharan K. M

Asst. Director MSME-DI. Chennai


Having completed his PG degree in MSc in Financial Economics at the Madras School of Economics, Chennai, and this dynamic gentleman has to his credit of mentoring budding entrepreneurs, technopreneurs and has served for many cluster development organisations. He had engaged capacity building activities in rural areas and has prepared Industrial Potential Reports for various Districts and State in Tamilnadu. Hehas jointly worked with the Adviser to Prime Minister Office for Innovation and Competitiveness in the Southern and Western promotional aspects of MSME

Gave a clear idea about the various regions in India.

Day 2

The insight of the day was given by


Session 1: Shri. K. VINOTH KUMAR

He is the Assistant Director in the Office of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Puducherry


He has also worked as a Handicrafts Promotion Officer in the same department, at Dharwad, Karnataka


This session had an influence and gave awareness on cultural heritage of India - The Handicrafts. This session also had an emphasis on doing export business successfully with new startup ideas


Session 2: Shri. G. JAYARAMAN

Mr. G. Jayaraman is a technical officer at the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Puducherry. He has a graduation in computer science. He completed his MBA with specialization in Human Resource Management. Then joined the government sector in the year 1987 and has now elevated to the position of Technical Officer at the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Puducherry


It was a session where the speaker explained various schemes available in our Government for Startup and Entrepreneurship and procedures to get through and avail those schemes


Session 3 – Dr. S. VIJAYALAKSHMI

Dr. S. Vijayalakshmi is a counselor, HR, trainer, coordinator of various events, founder of various trusts and foundation, principal of institutes, professor, guest speaker, member of various NGO's, founder of various schools and many more


She has been awarded various awards at various occasions and excellence women achiever award from Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry Dr. Kiran Bedi is one among them


Madam gave an emphasis on giving a cute idea about the credibility of education and what are the requirements we must master to meet the world of employee and entrepreneur in reality. This was an eye opener for the youth


Shri. HARI HARAN

Mr. Hari is an engineer by education and an entrepreneur by his passion. He started his entrepreneurial journey when he was just 19. He is so enthusiastic about Innovation/technology driven businesses. Currently he is working with Aroma global connect to help technology driven business/startups to enter and expand in India


Hari Sir’s session had an emphasis on how technology businesses are important and growing in India. In the world of fast growing technology, he explained various business opportunities available for business in the tech world


On the whole, it wassuch a remarkable workshop. The audience gained lots of interesting facts and knowledge which tends to lead us into extra-ordinary destination.Thedignitaries revealed vast information regarding Entrepreneurship which provoked many of us to implement our hidden ideas


The workshop was organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council, SGC in association with MSME-DI, Chennai. The program was coordinated by the members of IIC Ms. F. Jeno, Mrs. S. Sharmila Devi,Dr. M. Vijayalakshmi. Dr. K. Anuradha and Mr. R. Kamalakannan and student volunteers. The function ended with vote of thanks by Mr. M. John Jacob, President, IIC, SGC
