Insurance, Chennai was invited as a chief guest for the programme. She emphasized on Women Empowerment through highlighting various women icons in the world. Dr. N.Hemamalathi,
Coordinator of Women Empowerment Cell delivered the welcome address. Dr. Pazhani Raja, Vice Chairman rendered the presidential address and Dr. K. Uthayasuriyan, Principal of the
college felicitated the gathering. The girl students of SGC showed their active participation and involved themselves in various cultural activities. The chief guest distributed the prizes to the
winners of various competitions. Women staff of various departments was also invited to grace the occasion. The program ended with vote of thanks by Mrs. Valli, Department of Computer
Science.
