A magnificent sports extravaganza was organized at SGC playground for the year 2021 – 2022 in which all the students from various courses participated with great fervour and manifested their athletic skills with an unimpeachable finesse.The event commenced with the March Past led by the College Cabinet and the squads of all four Houses and Hoisting of the Flag. This year marked the 21st Annual Sports Meet and as such, the celebrations were held with great pomp to suit the occasion.Several indoor and outdoor sports activities like chess, carrom, badminton, Cricket,Volley Ball, Throw Ball, etc. were conducted for both girls and boys. Various track and field events were also conducted which saw emerging talent sweep the winning trophies.The culmination of. the Day witnessed loud cheers during the prize distribution ceremony at the hands of the Vice Chairman of the college Dr.S Pazhaniraja.
