What you study?

As there is greater demand from the student community, our college offers B.A. English (Language and Literature) from the year 2011. The course is devised in such way that the students who study this course not only get greater job opportunities but also become a model both because of their apt expression and drafting ability in any given circumstance. In short, this course is a good path to a great peak.


Eligibility: Pass in a higher secondary Certificate Examination (with high mark in English) of the Tamil Nadu State Board or CBSE or other equivalent examination acceptable to the Pondicherry University

Age: Candidates must have completed 16 years and 6 months as on 15th July. Should be below 21 years of age as on 1st July. Age relaxation is applicable to students belonging to the following categories:

  • 3 years for physically handicapped, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes
  • 5 years for nuns of various religious congregation and widows.

Medium: The medium of instruction shall be English.

Fees: Rs. 16,000/- per semester + one-time payment of Rs. 2,500/- will be collected.
